There are so many delicious flavours to try, from ice cream laced with mint to the popular Peppermint-infused ice cream.

How to make Peppermint Ice Cream: 1.
Melt ice cream in a saucepan and whisk until smooth.
Pour into a sauce pan and set aside to cool.
In a large mixing bowl, combine chocolate, peppermint, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, vanilla and egg.
Slowly add the melted ice cream to the chocolate mixture.
Pour it over the peppermint mixture and sprinkle with sugar.
Mix the ice cream into the cooled ice cream mixture.
Top with powdered sugar if desired.
Serve at room temperature.

The ice cream is best made in advance, but I usually make a batch of four batches, freeze them for up to two weeks and then use them on any holiday or occasion.
