The daughter of a former Army officer is going to become a star chef, and her father says he’d love to meet her one day.
It’s a career she wants to pursue, said Linda Thompson, who lives in Seattle with her husband, Scott, and three children.
The daughter of former Army captain Scott Thompson, Linda Thompson is set to become an ice-cream chef.
Thompson says she’s been told she will be able to cook at a professional level, although she’s not sure how long that will last.
“I have a lot of energy, I have a passion for ice cream,” she said.
I’ve never really been a fan of ice cream in general, but I think I could make it work, she said, laughing.
And it’s not just a job for me.
I want to be a chef, too.
Linda Thompson says her daughter has always wanted a career in food service.
Her mother, Scott Thompson Sr., is the founder of the Blue Hill Ice Cream, a family-owned ice cream shop in Seattle’s Pike Place Market.
Scott Thompson Sr. said Linda was the type of kid who could cook.
She’s also a food-sommelier, and when her father was in the military, Linda learned how to make ice cream.
Scott Thompson Jr. says Linda is passionate about her craft and hopes to eventually make her own ice cream at home.
But when she gets the chance, Linda says she’ll be making her own.
There are still many things she wants in her life, she says.
“My job is not done yet,” she says, laughing at the thought.
“I want to become one of the best chefs in the world.”
I think I’d love it, but it’s an addictive addiction.
Linda Thompson says she would love to cook and be able, someday, to make her ice cream for her family.
She has also spent time studying in the culinary school at the University of Washington, where she studied food and food-service design.
She says she is looking forward to the challenge of becoming a professional chef.
She plans to go to culinary school this fall, and she plans to study the business of ice-and-cream-making.
A lot of her friends and family have also expressed interest in working in the food industry, including her mom, who is a certified home-health aide.
But she also wants to be able.
“My goal is to be good at something, be good in my field, be able and be successful at it,” Linda said.
“That’s my goal.”
For now, Linda is focused on the job she’s currently doing.
On the ice, Linda’s family has a plan to take over.
One of the family’s biggest priorities is making sure the ice cream isn’t too cold.
That’s not going to be easy, but Linda is confident her daughter is up to the task.
When she’s ready, she plans on making her ice- cream for the rest of the year.
